Media Price Change Announcement

The printing industry has reported a continued upward price pressure in all paper related products, particularly over the last couple of years. The increased global demand for paper, paper pulp, film and adhesives combined with raw material price inflation and limited supply due to capacity constraints has resulted in cost increases, some well over 50%.

 

During this time CognitiveTPG has provided stable media prices and avoided passing these cost increases on to our customers. Our continuous process improvements had absorbed all of them until the most recent round of increases.

 

Effective October 1, 2010 we will be increasing our prices on all stock media by 6%. The phase in for these cost increases with new custom media quotes has already begun.

 

While we regret having to pass on these costs, CognitiveTPG continues to provide high quality media ensuring the best performance with our printers.
