USB-A Host Capabilities
The C Series printer is capable of hosting a wide variety of devices as well as offering easy to use updates and stored formats using its patented USB-A Host drive. To date, we are the only barcode printer manufacturer to offer this device.
HOW TO USE THE USB-A DEVICE
1. Connect via the USB-A port with a
- Scanner
- Keyboard or keypad
By connecting to the USB A port, you now have a stand alone solution without the need for a computer. Ideal for mobile applications or where you have limited space.
2. USB to Memory Stick Communications
Copy to Memory Device
Auto Copy to Printer
Use the USB A port with a memory stick to:
- Store printer configurations
- Load new fonts
- Set printer parameters such as print speed, darkness, etc.
- Upgrade the printer’s firmware
When the USB drive is plugged into the printer, the printer sees it as a memory store and automatically recognizes its commands.
